Silent Witness Tournament

On Monday, September 26, 2011 DP Air supported the Silent Witness Organization by sponsoring, donating and participating in the ‘Silent Witness Golf Tournament’. The Silent Witness Organization is dedicated to creating safer communities by working in partnership with citizens, media, and law enforcement to solve and prevent crime within the state of Arizona.

The Silent Witness Police Staff provides information on unsolved felony cases to the local media outlets (TV, radio & print) for the purpose of soliciting anonymous tips from the community. The Media then features these unsolved cases on a daily basis and reminds the community to call Silent Witness with any information.

The Community (citizens) will call or visit the Silent Witness website to provide information, which is routed to the respective police agency and case agent. The tipster remains anonymous and could earn a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest or indictment in the case.

Silent Witness is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is funded entirely through private donations and grants.

Cops for Kids

On Monday, July 25, 2011 DP Air supported the Whittier Police Officers’ Association at the ‘Cops Helping Kids Golf Tournament’ in La Habra, California. As a Platinum sponsor, DP Air supports the community through efforts to keep children in school and out of trouble. The program’s goal is to assist in providing a positive way for young people to use their leisure time in order to combat the growing trend of increased crime among adolescence. Attending the golf tournament were CEO Arnie Evdokimo, CFO Jennifer Harler and Regional Manager Mark Taylor.
